Life's greatest little pleasure?

 A good night's sleep

It is something money can't buy, power cannot acquire but which we all covet.
Getting a good night's sleep, it seems, is what gives us the ultimate contentment.
Curling up in bed after a long day and waking up feeling refreshed the following morning came top of a poll of life's 'greatest little pleasures'.
Second place in the study of 3,000 people was finding a tenner in your pocket, followed by cuddling up to a loved-one in bed.
'You can't beat the feeling of getting into bed after a long, hard day,' said poll spokesman Rob Stacey.
'And that feeling gets even better when you wake up feeling great and back to your normal self the following morning.
Other pleasures in the top 10 included laughing until you cry, getting into a bed with freshly washed sheets, finding a bargain in the shops and making someone smile.
Going back home to eat one of your mum's Sunday dinners was at 11, followed by someone saying you look nice.
Curling up with a good book and a hot drink or soup was 13th while the ecstatic feeling of discovering you have lost a few pounds in weight was at 14.
Fifteenth place went to being given a surprise breakfast in bed followed by waking up thinking it's a work day and realising it is the weekend.
A stranger smiling at you in the street, looking through old photo albums, eating a takeaway and having fun in the first snowfall of the year completed the top 20.
Other little pleasures to feature in the poll's top 50 included the sound of a baby laughing, fitting into an old pair of jeans after losing some weight and watching a live band.
Having a massage was 24th, the smell of freshly cut grass 31st, and popping bubble-wrap 50th.
Mr Stacey, of Batchelors Cup-a-Soup which carried out the study, added: 'People have been telling us what brightens up their day, and it's often the smaller things that can make a big difference.'
The company is asking its customers to describe their favourite moments and will pick the three best to appear on packs of its products.
